Canva: Design, Photo & Video 4+

Excellent but full of bugs!

I’d give Canva a 5* if not for the constant bugs since I’ve been using the app in the last 2.5 years. It’s not just annoying but so frustrating! I tear my hair out!

What are the issues?
1. Design distortions after saving. (Fonts, placement & size change after saving).
2. On the web, fonts keep changing on its own. It’s so hard to create a brochure, flyer whilst editing. I waste many hours fixing it over and over till it finally decides to stabilise. Then I have to quickly save, go back in again to do more changes before it tries to screw up the design again.
3. Canva asked to reset password (for security reasons) recently (through mobile) — a pop up notice — in which I did, but every time I open the mobile app it tells me to do it again. And again. And again. Every time I open Canva. What’s up with this?
Because of the stupid notification pop up button at the bottom, I can’t even click on what I really want to be doing.
4. App crash on mobile (my main mode for usage) is a frequent ‘feature’ — every few days in a week. Don’t you think u guys should fix this by now?
5. Can Canva also make the app more user friendly on iPad? It is so far, the most un-user friendly amongst the 3 mediums.

I would highly appreciate improvements on stability. Please please take this seriously.

Not working on iPad since iOS 14 update.

I depend on Canva to create content for my online store and businesses. Everything was working perfectly fine until the last iOS update. The app is frozen and refuses to reload or refresh. I have been trying to rectify the issue however I can. It seems to work just fine on my iPhone and also Safari. I hope Team Canva does something about it as many others seem to be sharing the same problem. Please come up with a solution. I’d hate to move everything to another app.

Our aim is to provide smooth designing experience to our users, and we are sorry if this is not what happened in your case. Please close/kill the app and then restart it. You may also close apps that are not being used at the moment to free some space in your device storage. Best. App. Ever

I have been using Canva since 2015 and have been extremely happy with it ever since! It is user friendly, plus there are so many designs, templates and fonts to choose from which increase every time I revisit the app! You can use it from your desktop or your phone, and sync both, which I find particularly useful when I have to whip up a quick story or invitation on the go. I highly recommend it to anyone, even if you don’t work in graphic design or event management, it’s really fun to create designs on your own and takes very little time 😊
