Super happy with Carbon Diet Coach

I started tracking calories using myfitnesspal (MFP) which is a great tool as I managed to lose weight (fat) and I am already at a weight that I am happy with. But, I made the decision to leave MFP and subscribe to carbon diet because I needed to plan a reverse diet and gain muscle in the coming months.

I’ve only used carbon diet for a week but i already cannot see myself going back to MFP. If you’re the pedantic type who likes to input data to a decimal, this app is for you. Also, it is so easy to use.

I’ve tried the renaissance periodisation app, but for me, it was a bit too complicated. My brain just couldn’t register the interface. Carbon diet is straightforward. You don’t have to think. You just input your data and everything is outlined for you. If your life is already stressful, you want an app that doesn’t add to that stress.

The only thing lacking is its food database for asian, specifically, south east asian junk food. Having said that, it is EASY to add a food type of your choice. You don’t even have to leave the ‘diary’ screen to add food.

I am glad I made the decision to subscribe to carbondiet. No regrets.
