A TILE PLACEMENT GAME OF CREATING LANDSCAPES, CLAIMING AREAS, AND GAINING POINTS
Discover or re-discover Carcassonne, the multi-awarded tile-based game in which players draw and place their tiles to build a medieval city. Place your cities, roads, abbeys or fields to enlarge your landscape, then place your followers, the meeples. Knights, robbers or farmers... Each meeple will help you control your territory and win points.
But be careful, you will need all your best strategy and tactics to maximum your points! Place your tiles and your meeples wisely to stop your opponents and win the game.

Thanks to the mini expansions ""The River"" and ""The Abbot"", you can embellish your landscape and vary your game to enjoy new ways to play! Double or even triple your points thanks to the new buildings in the Inns & Cathedrals expansion! And with the Traders & Builders expansion, score more points with the trading commodities and build faster with the builders! Discover the city of Carcassonne covered with a blanket of white snow in the Winter Edition... and look out for the Gingerbread Man and the bonus points he'll give you! Beware of the Dragon in ""the Princess and the Dragon"" expansion! He could eat your Meeples if you're not cautious. And be kind with the Princess: she might prefer you to other Meeples and toss them out of the cities!

Ratings and Reviews
A good game, but don’t buy the dragon expansion pack.
I loved the game and poured a lot of money into it, buying almost every single expansion pack. However, when I bought the last expansion pack, the game became glitchy and incredibly unpleasant to play.
While the gameplay for the expansion pack was the most interesting of the lot, the AI started taking upwards of 10 minutes to make a move whenever it received a tile with a teleportation gate on it and players sometimes became unable to place meeples down (even when they had meeples and the tiles to do so. These random glitches and weird quirks made the game tedious and frustrating.
I brought these issues to the dev team in an email, but didn’t receive any reply. I have been waiting for a month. Frustrated, I went on the game’s subreddit, and was disappointed to find out that users have been complaining about the same issue for months to no avail. It seems like the dev team is for all purposes, dead as a doornail.
This whole experience has soured my experience with the game and I went from playing daily to leaving the game untouched for weeks. Cmon Asmodee, buck up and service your customers properly. As for the rest of y’all, stay the heck away from the dragon and princess expansion.

Hi and thank you a lot for your feedback. Indeed, we are aware that Carcassonne third expansion, The Princess & The Dragon, is the most expensive for our AI. Both portal tiles and dragon tiles are causing combinatorial explosions in AI possibilities, especially with all expansions enabled. So, if you are playing with all expansions together, it is a huge challenge.
In both cases, we managed to keep AI computation time below a minute on an average device in our last update. Let us know if this improve your experience.
