Ad cash grab
This game makes you tap a heart to oxygenate a body, and you unlock organs as the game progresses. Very simple mechanics.
However, the game bombards you with advertisements every 5-10 seconds, which is made even worse as the optional ‘CLICK HERE TO WATCH AD’ buttons for ingame perks are placed just over the same heart you are tapping to play the game. This means you accidentally click to watch advertisements on top of forced advertisements that already play without pause.
What’s worse, the game has NO MUSIC. And NO SOUND EFFECTS. Just vibrations when you tap the heart to pump blood. The only respite to silent tapping you have is when an advertisement is shoved in your face and you have to experience the auditory equivalent of a jumpscare.
Also the game soft-locks you into a fixed rate of tapping, as the heart ‘beats’ to a set rate. This means no matter how fast you click, you don’t earn exponentially more in-game currency, the currency just goes up a little faster. This seriously demotivates me to play, as I am not in charge as to how fast I can tap to earn and buy upgrades (as if the forced advertising won’t make you watch them first).
I’m a fan of idle games, and I don’t mind optional advertising to help the developers out, but this game just makes it so frustrating and annoying to play.
