Oh look, we’ve got a brand new in-game shop!
In it you’ll now find Daily Deals for you to check out, er daily and our two spangly new in-game currencies:
- Azbantium Crystals: Four times stronger than diamonds and now available to purchase via our in-game shop. These crystals grant access to exclusive content and rewards or can be used to purchase Data Credits…
- Data Credits: These can be purchased using Crystals, earned through quest completion or Season Pass progression. They can be used to Level Up cards and purchase Daily Deals.
Well, well, well… it’s time for our first season!
Season Alpha: Time Squad focuses on the Time Squad: a ruthless group of Daleks intent upon changing the past to suit their own diabolical agenda.
But don’t let the Daleks scare you! Join the squad! Get a Season Pass, and work through the 63 levels to unlock banners, avatars, titles, Time Capsules, Card XP, Proxy Cards, Data Credits, and Azbantium Crystals as you go.
Want even more rewards? Upgrade your Season Pass to the Vortex Pass and in addition to ALL the brilliant free rewards, you’ll get access to two brand-new cards: Dalek Time Squad & Dalek Executioner, and a whopping 2,000 MORE Azbantium Crystals and 30,000 MORE Data Credits. 
Want the rewards faster? Upgrade to the Vortex FastPass and you’ll get a fantastic head start of 10,000 Season XP (SXP), meaning you can immediately claim rewards up to and including Level 10 and start using them in the game.
Introducing Collection Levels
This version introduces Collection Levels, which are central to player progression. Each time you Level Up a card, your overall Collection Level increases. Every time you hit a new Collection Level, you'll have the option to choose rewards from Worlds, Doctors, or cards of each rarity. Reaching a new Collection Level also grants you Azbantium Crystals.
We’ve Tweaked Card Levelling
Your cards now have a single upgrade path. To Level Up you’ll need Card XP AND the required amount of Data Credits. Once Levelled Up, a card will gain a visual enhancement to either the border, trails or artwork so with each level the cards just look better and better! Levelling Up cards will also grant you Collection Level XP AND Proxy Cards, which can be used in place of Card XP to Level Up other cards of the same rarity.
It's useful to know that your Deck Builder is now known as your Collection. Use it to Level Up your cards, create decks and view your card collection.
More Epic Quests
You can give your progress a big boost with the two additional quest types we’ve added to the daily/weekly ones you’ve grown to love.
- Story Quests: Unlock Doctor cards and work your way through Doctor-inspired quests, earning rewards at every stage.
- Card XP Vault: Complete 4 challenges to gain Card XP and choose one of 3 cards to assign that XP to.
And There’s New Cards!
We’re welcoming 30 amazing new cards to the game, including ALL fifteen Doctors! There’s also favourites like Ruby Sunday, Sonic Screwdriver, and villainous cutie The Meep! Plus, there’s six new Worlds bringing new range and depth to the World Clashes.
Go On, Express Yourself
You can now make your feelings well and truly known with a choice of banners, avatars, and titles which will be displayed during a match, on the match-making and post-match reward screens, and on your main menu. That should cover it.
UI Gets an Overhaul
The seasoned players among us will have realised that the UI has undergone a complete transformation. You can now experience flying through time and space whilst navigating through the screens and new icons will aid you on your way!
