Perfect app for foreign drone users in japan!

The app developer is very responsive and has kindly explained all the markings temporarily before implementing. If you are deciding to bring your drone to japan for some epic shots or dronies please do download this app and you will be able to check your current location that you are in and check if you can/should fly in the vicinity.

Also since this app pulls its data from the official japan government website that states where can drones be flown thus the data is very accurate. I do not recommend using DJI's version of NFZ as it is not accurate in japan.

Below is as quoted from the developer for all the users using the app and do not know what the color means.

The red area is a no-fly area.
The blue area is an altitude limited area.
The inner circle is an area where it is prohibited to fly over 45 m from the sea level of the airport runway. As a result, you can not fly if the point you want to fly is already 45 meters above the sea level of the airport runway.
For other blue areas, altitude limitation is complicated, so it is necessary to contact the Unmanned Aerial Platform helpdesk (0570-783-072). For reference, a schematic diagram of altitude limit is attached. (Although it is in Japanese)

Developer Response ,

I'm sorry. There was no explanation of the meaning of color in the application. I will improve the application.

In this application, you can check the areas (B)[Blue color] and (C)[Red color]. and (i)[Sunrise time, Sunset time].
Please see the rules below.
