A simple yet amazing app to learn new language
Drops is the perfect app for people that like flash card method for learning. The user interface is friendly and simple, the content is amazing and very suitable for new learners. Although there is only 5 minutes per day without purchasing the premium version, but it is actually enough and not too stressful for people like me where time is limited after work. The only thing I regretted was why I never discover this app earlier! It is a fun app and I definitely recommend it to new language learners.
Very Useful
Hi! I’m using the free version of Drops and this version only allows me to learn a language for 5 minutes every 9+hours. Although that may be too little time for some users, I find the allocated time just fine for me. If the user is easily distracted and can’t learn something new for a long period of time in a day, 5 minutes should be just fine for the user as long as they practice on the words they learnt in that 5 minutes.
However, if the user must learn more than 5 minutes a day because they have to prepare for an exam for that target language, then 5 minutes would not be enough to learn the language more in-depth.
Think of the 5 minutes as a practice like you’re practicing through your flash cards.
Basic
The basic learning is really for the one that have basic Japanese language exposure before.. even tho it is the basic learning Eg. Hiragana, I bet it is still hard for new person to learn Japanese.. japanese character must be accompanied by the way to write the character, and not just remembering the shape of it.. some more the shape of some of the characters is “modernised” Eg. Hiragana Letter ‘sa’, ‘ki’ should have written with 2 parts instead of 1 part joined together to form the hiragana character.
Anyhow, I’ll try to complete the course to see how efficient is this in learning Japanese
