Great platform
Easy to use, easy to understand, and most importantly have news feed and analyst that post their thesis or summary about company’s fundamentals.
The bad side, its laggy and delays during market open, buy and sell dollar stock.
Other than that, more than 10 people i invited to etoro, they just love the platform.

Please bear in mind that eToro app has heavy resource demands & it requires a good internet connection. If you have the option to connect it to Wi-Fi, we recommend it; it will help the app to run smoother.
Also, make sure to have the latest version of the app and if after all of this you still experience issues, please contact our customer service for assistance & always check the desktop version as well.

Bad customer service
I have been using etoro about 5-6 months ago, this is the first time i had encounter an error regarding my deposits of fund. I had transferred a big enough amount(at least to me) with a receipt provided.
However my etoro account is not credited by any transferred amount, having asked their customer service.
“the funds are being redirected to you bank (zotapay)” they said. (They didn’t have my bank account details at all as i did not save any in the account)
“Hell i had never used zotapay in my life!” I replied in confuse.
The next reply they told me, since they had already redirected my funds, they can’t do anything anymore.
So it ended with this reply...
Wouldn’t it be nice for you to say “im sorry, we had wrongly redirected your funds. May i have your bank details so we can redirect your funds in a correct, accurate manner”?
Update: I had sent emails informing my escalation of the issue if this case is not resolved in a serious manner. They did redirected the funds incorrectly to a platform i’ve never used before. After sending multiple emails of evidences, at last, one and a half month later eToro has taken the responsibility to revert the funds to my account. I am as grateful now as i thought the funds would have disappeared into thin air just like that.

Stupid design of this app locks me out of my funds
My profile is old and they are forcing me to update it again even though there is nothing to update. Not so frustrating. But what is frustrating is the new GUI is buggy and won’t let me progress with my profile updating, essentially locking me out of my funds.
Your company is stupid and should be ashamed of yourself. Kept on asking me to put in “Tax ID” even though it’s not applicable for my account (Malaysian account) and I am a student. I have NRIC number and that should be enough. In fact, because you detected I’m from Malaysia, your GUI did not provide the field for Tax ID. But yet still insisted I put it in when I try to go to the next section? Can you please design your app better before you come across as fraudulent?
