Reload (No Network) pops up many times
Hi, the “reload (no network)” message pops up on the bottom of the screen several times every day. Even though there was no issue with the network (both Wi-Fi and cellular).
It’s been a while and I think maybe your team can take a look? Thank you.
A Step Back
Everything aside from the fresh coat of UI paint is worse than the old version. While the old version prioritises speed and puts your content first, the new version tries too hard to divide your attention. The new bottom bar is persistent although the old version has proven that it’s unnecessary. It eats up screen space that can be used to display more articles. One way to remedy this is to provide an option to make the bottom bar hide on scroll.
Many useful customisations and gestures from the old version have been removed. For example, you can no longer change the way you dismiss an article (double tap was fast). You can’t change what button shows up in the top bar. All app integrations (Twitter, Instapaper, etc.) were removed except Pocket which Feedly tries its hardest to shove it in your face. As a consequence, all previous actions now require more steps.
Most reading apps including Apple’s own Books app have had automatic night mode built in for a very long time. I can’t believe such a basic feature is not included in this major update.
I’ve been a Feedly user for as long as Feedly existed and I’m disappointed in the update. Given Feedly’s track record with updates, it’s safe to say we’ll be stuck with this backward-thinking app for quite a while. Two stars for now because it could have been worse.

Hey guys, I couldn't find a way to contact support. Pro user here. Your app is flickering on iOS11 when swiping up to read the next page. Hope you guys can release an update to fix it. Thanks!
