HOW IT WORKS
First, enter your address (home/ office/ treehouse). Then, choose your favourite restaurant and place an order. They’ll prepare your food and once it’s ready, our courier bring it to you. If you need something to watch, you can track your rider in real-time. Then you eat. Food goals.

Disappointed with the app
I ordered food from it and when the food arrived, some of the items were missing and to be honest it is not the rider fault. Its the vendor fault because they did not double check before handed to the rider. I know we can report it using the app, but the developer must build the app that the rider can know what the customer order in details (What I meant here is the rider can see what's the additional items that customer order). The User Interface (UI) must be the same as the Vendors for the Order Item. So that, both of them (The Vendor and Rider) can double check before delivered it to the Customer. If I can show you all the screenshot of the (UX Order) for 3 different types of user that using the FoodPanda App (Vendor, Rider & Customer) while using this app then you all can understand it. But I think if i did not show the screenshots the Developer must understand well about my complain and understand well about the app because they build it for God sake. The problem is just for the Order Items Section for the Rider. Hope can fix it yeahh??? I feel really sorry for the Rider because u build the app that not make them ease.
App is not optimised
Everytime I’ve tried to order something, I’ll definitely need to chat with the customer service to check on my food status as it’s always stucked at the first status which is your order has been placed. It’s a good 15-20 mins wait. I’ve noticed that after checking with the customer service only then the restaurant will prepare it. I think the notification part to inform the restaurant is really not effective or I would say not optimised. Hope this feedback would help improve the service as I don’t get this problem on grabfood (nothing is perfect, I do get missing items on grabfood as well but it could be the restaurant’s problem) but if one problem occurs frequently on the app, I think it needs to be fixed or you’ll lose out your market share despite how many vouchers you give out or offer free delivery service. I’m so used to using grabfood as it’s always a smooth transaction and I tend to forget about foodpanda despite the number of attractive vouchers that they have sent to me.
The app could be better
I have been using foodpanda for a while now(since it launched in Malaysia) I can see the improvement from the start until today but the app seriously need an update to keep you in the competition. You see sometime the app is not showing where my rider at and my order went “missing” and I can’t check it in history and there’s no way for me to see my order until there’s an update for my order(after pressing the notification and the order is showing up in the app) or I have to ask Siri where is my food in order to get the update. Also, the map system in foodpanda is terrible. Because of the map pin point to the wrong address it made my rider go to the wrong place. If these small things can be improved it will make the UX so much better I really hope you guys take my suggestion into consideration. Thanks
