Ratings and Reviews
The best translation app in my opinion as it is owned by Google, a company that having huge user database. It does making easier to gather data regarding translation accuracy.
Google Translate - great for when you’re stuck so long as you don’t mind the gibberish
Quick and easy to use though the voice recognition is nowhere as a good as Line’s. The video character recognition in Japanese is mind-blowing. About 20% gibberish coming from the English-Japanese translator can be highly amusing but gets irritating when it can’t provide any alternatives
Bad translator, most of the time inaccurate.
I use it for Chinese and it is very inaccurate, sometimes it doesn’t even show the meaning and just the way to read the words. I know that translators are hard to perfect but Google Translate just has too many inaccuracies. I don’t mean any hate, it’s just my opinion, of course you can say that this translator is good but in my opinion, it has a lot of issues.
