This app does the basic jobs but lacking in many ways.
This app compared to HSBC app in other countries including singapore is so much behind. Sincerely hoping HSBC malaysia could upgrade the interface and features to be on par with other HSBCs abroad and also other banks in Malaysia.
I'll be the first one to put 5 stars review if that happens.

The app makes me want to leave HSBC
First off, I’m already frustrated with HSBC’s banking system and facilities as a whole. It is miles behind other banks like Maybank for one. There’s such a tedious security system in place. Get with the times and stop making us key in 3 different user info and passwords to access our bank balances via the app and then having to have that pin device on hand at all times for “added security”. This app itself is exactly what’s wrong with HSBC. Secondly, the app’s interface feels so rudimentary compared to Maybank. There are zero features that demonstrates that it’s a bank that incorporates IT advancements. Zero. This is a problem with HSBC’s IT strategy and not the developer entirely. I’m honestly compelled to switch to another bank just because of how ridiculously bad this app is.
Unable to login on mobile device
Hi HSBC, while you are improving the user experience, please do not forget the older version users. I'm currently still ios9 and have been prompted to update to a new version of apps that can only be run using IOS10. So kindly look in an older version of apps that is working on a older version of iOS. Thanks
