PROBLEM

Hello, I’m a student’s and a part-time online seller. I’m really upset ! My account got deactivated last week . And few days ago i can’t do a transaction! I don’t know why ??!!! I have contacted the service things about my account got deactivated but I’m unable to contact them about my account problem with transaction. I always get this problems at Friday then I have to wait 2 days until working days. I can’t do my job if every week there will be problems with my online banking .

We would like to apologize for any inconveniences that we may have caused you. Please be informed that there are several factors that can cause your account to be deactivated. It occurs due to inactive usage of the online account for a certain period (90 days) or invalid login using wrong password for three attempts. i-MSecure activation takes far too long

The mobile app is ok but can be more user-friendly especially the i-MSecure registration and activation process.

Consider providing a simple guide or link to show how a customer can activate. You had it on the login page in “Announcements” but just stating Activate i-MSecure via the Muamat Online Portal….. is not enough. Just show a quick guide on “how to” will help tremendously and advise the 720 mins = 12 hours for activation.

When I finally registered for it, and waiting for 12 hours, then my mobile app was in “Loading…” mode for 2 days. So I had to uninstall mobile app and install once again. I installed the mobile app easily but then as website portal showed device connected and activated so I did transfer. The transaction approval was apparently sent but I didn’t receive anything on my device to be approved.

I had tried a few times and I deleted the device and went to the whole process to register the device once again. And here waiting another 12 hours for activation. It is really frustrating

Know the mobile app took a lot of effort to be developed but the i-MSecure token registration process of 12 hours to verify and activate is far too long! Please do consider reviewing Maybank’s mobile and online banking features as well as secure verification etc. The whole process is much simpler and user-friendly.

Kindly be informed that we have provided a link to further guide on i-MSecure at i-Muamalat Portal Page. You may click on "Announcement" > Enhanced Security with i-MSecure Authentication > scroll down until the link provided> visit the website address. Aside from that, you may visit our official website > go to Enhanced Security Features for i-Muamalat > refer video guide titled "iMS Passcode Activation".


There will be a 12-hour Cooling-off period once the i-MSecure has been successfully activated. This is to ensure only you can access to the i-Muamalat account and perform transaction approval via i-MSecure. Please ensure to allow push notification for i-Muamalat App and set the Date & Time settings of your device as Automatic.


You are kindly advised to avoid from uninstall i-Muamalat App after you have already activated i-MSecure. Otherwise, your device will be unbinded from the i-MSecure token.

Insane ! Cannot transfer money at all now due to approval apps which not funtion at all !

No notification or anything pop out for me to approve my transaction. So far few months passed. No solution for this. Surprisingly those favorite account transfer, no need approval from the apps. Which I am not sure it is good or not interm of the security, BUT luckily it do helps me to transfer money to my Bank Islam account first (no need approve as it fav acc) then do transaction to another acc using Bank Islam apps instead. My suggestion is if you dont have stable apps yet. So many bugs yet to fix. Why dont just do traditional way of TAC number instead. Brag like having apps but seems not functioning. I have many account with bank muamalat so far but this is very disappointing. Or else people will move to another bank which is has more stable & reliable apps. Please take this review seriously thanks.

You may opt to add/remove any of the favorite account(s).
