Bug and crash

We are sorry that you are experiencing an issue in Company of Heroes.

We believe that the issue you describe could be triggered by the autosave functionality in the game. Please go to Options from the main menu, then under 'General' scroll down to 'Enable Autosave' and disable the setting to see if that helps.

So Close Yet So Far

Good:
1) Good graphics and performance on iPhone 11 Pro Max
2) Controls are playable even on an iPhone. Some things like using abilities might even be easier on mobile than on PC

Cons:
1) heats up iPhone even on power saver mode. Drains battery like 25% per hour of gameplay. Not good for battery life. Not recommended for a long session on iPhone.
2) looks very bad on iPad 6th gen like horrible graphics. Muddy textures and no shadows despite downloading high res texture pack.
3) crashes every time there’s an auto save on iPad 6th gen. Sometimes on manual saves as well...
4) problem no 3) wouldn’t be so bad if iCloud saving actually works. At the moment, there’s a bug with the saves where if you click restore from iCloud all your save data is deleted... clicking on local files actually downloads the iCloud files. At this moment all my files are messed up between my iPhone and iPad and I have loss game progression.

Nitpick:
Drawing a box with two fingers doesn’t always work on iPhone due to the small screen and the screen not always registering as two fingers. Even three finger taps don’t always work on the iPhone. Maybe a dedicated button for selection multiple units on screen.

Very Difficult to control units in iPad version

I’ve just started playing this game not too long ago due to the impressive comments of it. However as I continue to play it I find the controls especially to select the units on the iPad are not intuitive enough I can’t even draw a square to select some particular units on the battlefield unlike how command and conquer does it. In a game people have to act quickly and don’t have time to think so much. I wish this game becomes more intuitive soon.

If there is a way I could get a refund for my purchase I would be happy to receive it.

If you are having any issues with gameplay, please ensure you complete the Training modes, available via New Game from the main menu. If you find that gameplay is too fast, you can pause the game using the icon in the top left of the screen and still make commands to your units before pressing play to continue the action.
