VSCO: Editor Foto & Video 12+

A suggestion. :)

Dear VSCO, I really like your app because it allows me to post my photos freely especially without exposing who has liked my photo publicly. It lets me myself know who appreciates my photos and who likes my style. However, there is no ‘like’ nor the ‘comment’ button at the journal part. Is there any reason why? If not, I find that it would be good for me to know who likes my style of posting my journal with the ‘like’ button or at least with the ‘comment’ button. Is it ok if you could include either ‘like’ or ‘comment’ for the journals? Thank you for hearing me out. :)))

Backstabbed

I have been religiously using VSCO from 2015.
Their filters and basic settings were the route of forming my own set of aesthetics in photography. I regarded it as one of the best free photo editing app we could have at hand.
Today, I feel betrayed that they took away filters and settings many have used as I have. I no longer feel the rush I felt to quickly work on my photos at the end of an eventful day. VSCO gave me that hope and to find out they have pulled the rug from beneath our feet by locking them behind premium subscription made me upset. We gave you loyalty and in return we got robbed of opportunities to enjoy our art.

There is nothing compared to what it offered but you can't force us to pay you for what we have used for free over the years. It's about time we move on to support companies who value our loyalty over their greed. The most I pray is to give us back what you took from us or live with the consequences of losing most of us.

Membership

Honestly, I am so disappointed with VSCO now. I’ve been using the app since 2015. With the most basic tools and the most basic presets back then, VSCO is the best free editing app I ever use. Unfortunately, it started to develop a membership feature which offer a lot of beautiful presets and you need to pay to use it. As day goes by, years by years, VSCO started to lock everything in the app and marked it as ‘premium’. Again, we need to pay to use it. I am so disappointed as they are not only lock all the free presets like HB2, A6 but also the most basic tools like highlights/shadows and grain. Deep in my heart, I feel very disappointed with it. I think it’s time to make it as a paid app in AppStore / GooglePlay. There is no use to make people like me put a high expectation on VSCO. I feel betrayed. At least, make the basic tools free. Let us explore the world of photography.
