Summer is upon us and it's time to hit the beach and soak up that sun. Stay out of the water though. There are zombies swimming in the latest update of Plants vs Zombies 2.

Disallowed the ‘Tap to Play’ Ads

I’ve been playing this game for almost 2 years and love it. But my only complain is this ads tend to blacken the screen without returning back to the game which require me to restart the game every time the ads appear and it frustated me very much. I know they pay you guys for this but still you can change the format of the ads like the other ads. Please do something about this.

Not that fun anymore

Like many other people, I used to love playing this game. But the game has gotten too complicated now, and it seems like we are somewhat forced to buy the plants if we wanna win? The zombies move too fast without giving a proper time to build my basic defense like planting enough sunflower to generate enough sun to plant the first proper plant for attack. The game that I used to play to help me destress is the very thing giving me stress now. So many tabs; I don’t even know what’s what. Also every time I finish playing one level, the page is stuck there with the big zombie head. There’s nowhere to press to proceed to the next level/page. I had to restart the whole game just so I can go to the main page. I understand to keep the game free, the ad is a must, but too much, and too wasting time.

Ridiculous rigged game to make you spend

This game is absolutely rigged to make you spend coins or worse, just trying to make you pay for plant upgrades. Stay away from this game.

At later levels, sunflowers will take extremely long to generate sun. Only when you are about to lose the level is when ALL your sunflower will miraculously produce sun at one go.

YES, EVEN WHEN YOU PLANTED EACH SUNFLOWER MINUTES APART, ALL SUNFLOWERS WILL DELAY AND PRODUCE SUN ALL TOGETHER WHEN YOU ARE ABOUT TO LOSE THE LEVEL, NOT ACCORDING TO WHEN YOU PLANT EACH SUNFLOWER. LOGICALLY, THEY SHOULD BE PRODUCING SUN ONE AFTER ANOTHER BASED ON WHICH SUNFLOWER YOU PLANTED FIRST.

By then it is already too late as you’re left to deal with the zombies at all lanes with no time to plant anything. This forces you to spend coins to use power ups. This is clearly an intended “feature” because in earlier levels, sun is produced according to a specific set time from when you planted each sunflower.

Hence, this game is purposefully making it impossible for you to get through the later levels without upgrades.

Look developers, I don’t even mind the game being littered with ads but when you resort to changing the game mechanics and rules just to force your players to spend money to upgrade is when there’s a problem. UNINSTALLING THIS GAME.
