Description
InSight AR is an interactive Augmented Reality artwork. It forms uncanny relations between virtual sculptures, people and the environment.
InSight AR is an interactive Augmented Reality artwork, experienced through a mobile phone app. The work forms uncanny relations between virtual sculptures, visitors, the environment and the art on site. It is designed to be playful, fun and it encourages its viewers to share their experience on social media. The virtual sculptures, a selection of well-known classical and neo-classical works, are presented as 3D models with a semi-translucent ghost-like appearance. They represent a volume and at the same time, frame the surrounding and allow visitors to pose with the sculptures.
