It’s very convenient to use the app as I can book and update my booking easily. They will also send SMS to you on the status of the cleaning crew on the day of cleaning. It’s a better version than the last one. Any redemption however is done via coins. But you can always request to transfer it back to your account.
The past 2 weeks been a very rocky journey with Maideasy. There’s absolutely nothing ‘easy’ about it. Numerous cancellations, intermittently slow response. And sometimes queries remain unanswered to this day. They’re not a very reliable service and instead of making things easy, it has made things a lot more difficult. You’d think that because I have been using the service everyday for two weeks, a bit more customer service and support would be available, on the contrary they take the regular business for granted with cancellations happening in the last minute. Being a regular user I had requested the same personnel regularly so as to not waste time briefing new people each time. But that’s not possible. If your looking for a one off, then by all means go ahead. But if your looking for efficiency and consistency for long term use, look elsewhere. This method of operation is not going to be sustainable in the long term if the services remains unreliable and unpredictable.
App ReviewLooks nice but errors keep popping up. Couldn't upload photos in one of the forms, which I assume is meant to give the cleaners an idea what type of job they were accepting. Service ReviewDisappointed because my booking was cancelled twice. The second time I was canceled on, the cleaner claimed to have called me multiple times, and since I did not answer he canceled the job he had accepted. Was ready to apologise but found that there were no calls made to me. Tried contacting Maideasy but the number on my e-receipt was incorrect - am hoping it wasn't to discourage customers from calling. When I finally found the correct number, there was no answer. Maideasy has a caveat that says customers cannot make bookings in under 2 hours. This seems reasonable to me. But it seems a little disingenuous that customers are not accorded the same courtesy when cleaners who have accepted the job can cancel at any time with no warning or replacement. I think Maideasy should relook their service agreements with the cleaners - if Maideasy doesn't act accountable on their behalf, the cleaners should be made accountable for the jobs they accept/cancel.
Paid for move out cleaning, time management non existing with the cleaners. After spending more than half of the time they haven’t even started on the bedrooms. End up i had to pay 2 extra hours and still they didn’t finish all the rooms. This is on an easy to clean condo where all furniture was already moved out and sqft at the lower end of the range paid for. Where they actually cleaned they did a good job, but time management was so poor i won’t use this app ever again. Ended up I have to clean 1 bedroom and yard area myself, even after paying extra hours.
Booking through the app is easy and convenient, even last minute. Used the app on or off for a number of years. Overall service is mediocre at best. Have to be very specific as often the cleaners will convenient omit dusty shelves if it means having to move small things. Quite often cleaning supplies (clorox spray, window cleaner, scotch brite sponges and brushes) will disappear when the cleaners leave.
Pretty lousy service; it’s hard to secure cleaners and their whole coins system is wonderful for Maideasy to hold onto your dough. The service simply isn’t customer friendly…like tying a bow around a traditional business with an app (without the solutions one expects a tech company to try and solve). With the coins conversion then it forces the customer to jump through another hoop to request a refund back into your account. Painful admin process and just a poor experience
