It began with a single wish.
It all started in 1980 in Arizona, when 7 year old Chris Greicius, who was battling leukaemia, wanted nothing more than to become a police officer, to protect and save the lives of others. Little did Chris know that his wish would inspire a movement that would transform millions of lives around the world. Since then Make-A-Wish has granted over 500,000 wishes worldwide, serving critically ill children in nearly 50 countries on 5 continents through its 39 Affiliates.
Make-A-Wish Malaysia has been working with select hospitals since 2010, bringing life changing wish experiences to critically ill children in Peninsula and East Malaysia. With each wish, we bring renewed strength and encouragement for the child and family we serve.
