It's better now though it still needs a major overhaul

I posted a 1-star review 3 years ago about how awful Microsoft News app was due to the inability to mute news sources, and I'm glad that users can finally do so. It's definitely refreshing to revisit the app and see one of the most basic & requested features is present.

Though I'm not particularly happy with how bloated the app has gotten over the years, with unnecessary features like the built-in internet browser, translator, unit converter & math solver (just why?) being added. The user interface is way too cluttered with menus and buttons everywhere. Microsoft, I'd happily download & use a separate app for each one of them than having them all stuffed inside a news aggregator app that I will most likely never use.

Also, the live widget needs an update, it's still using the old widget system instead of the new one and therefore you can't add it in the homescreen.
