Monefy: Money Tracker 4+

It’s one of the most user friendly expenses tracking app. I immediately upgraded to Pro after trying it out. However, if I can propose, I will love it more if the developer can add one section “INVESTMENT” tracker. I really want to track my saving, expenses & investment ALL in one apps.

I hope the developer can consider my suggestion.

Overall I have found that the app was very simple to use. When using the app for the first time it was easy to find out which buttons do what type of action. The app is configured in a way that the user can easily navigate it.. It was easy to see how much money you have spent. Usually when an app has easier buttons and is easy to navigate…more people would want to use that app instead of the other budgeting apps

Even though the app has a user friendly interface, there can still be cons. A con is that there will be ads for their premium service for the apps. They also limit the amount of categories that you can input for the money you spent. Usually when an app has a paid premium subscription, their users may be annoyed.

Despite having great features and minor flaws there are some features that I think will fit well and make its user interface better. The first feature would be having a bar chart to tell how much you have spent in that time frame. Even though there is already a pi chart it would be more user friendly if there were two choices for the user. Another feature that would make the users more interested in the app will be linking the app to payment apps to make it easier to input payments into the app. Usually having users do extra work will make the users want to not use the app.

So the app monefy is an overall good and well-rounded app. It has many good features which are easy to understand and easy to use for all ages. Some of the positives are that the home menu is well organized, it has a simple graph at the home menu to see your percentages for each category of transactions, and each category is simple and easy to use.

Some of the negative aspects of monefy were that you can't have synchronized transactions between 2 or multiple accounts. You also can't add your own categories or new categories unless you pay for it so most of these features where you can customize your layout or home screen are locked by a paywall. There is also no synchronization with your own bank account which can be annoying to people who are busy or use their bank account a lot.

Suggestions I have for improving monefy would be to have some form of an option for people who don't want to pay but still want to customize their categories or a free trial for a couple of days to help prevent complaints from people who do buy for the paywall.
