Money Lover: Expense Tracker 4+

Easy to use for beginner

Money Lover has many positive attributes, but I believe its greatest strength lies in its simplicity and ease of use. One standout feature is its ability to provide users with a clear breakdown of their spending percentages, which is particularly helpful for beginners like myself.

However, it's worth noting that the app does have its drawbacks. One issue I've encountered is the presence of advertisements, particularly when inputting expenses. While I understand the need for ads to support the app's development, the frequency and timing of these ads can be disruptive and detract from the user experience.

In terms of improvements, I believe implementing a password protection feature would greatly enhance the app's privacy and security measures. This would give users peace of mind knowing that their financial data is safeguarded from prying eyes and unauthorized access.

Helpful app for students

I’ve been using the app for more than a month now, and there were some pros and cons. For me, it was a good app to use, but everyone’s different. So I think it will be helpful for others to decide whether they want to use it or not.

First, the pros. First of all is simple and cute app design. It is very easy to use, I just needed 10 minutes to get used to it. Also, it is very organized, so it’s easy for us to track how much we spent and how we spent it. The best part for me as a student was that I did not need to pay for premium to track my spendings.

Cons. If you are an adult, you better get the premium. It needs us to pay to connect it with the bank and it is essential for adults. It is not very cheap for a college student or a person who just started working. And there are always ads on screen, so if you are not comfortable, then it’s not for you.

Suggestions: It can have more features without making us pay, It can have more variety of icons, it is quite limited. Also, the ads on the bottom of the screen really makes the app look bad, it should be more appealing if it looks prettier.

Great, but sometimes confusing

Money lover is a great app with lots of different features without the premium account.
-Pros: The free account includes features such as being able to insert pictures, add income, expense, debt/loan, selections of categories, date insertions, different wallet options, show of pie charts, and being able to set a budget in different categories.

-Cons: I would love to go premium on this app, however, the payment is way too much, and also their upgrade options are not that good.

-Areas of improvement: Their are so many options in this app that it gets difficult to understand which option does what. I think the app can work on making the options a bit more clear. Also, they can do a better job is fixing their fixed budget category option. All in all, This app looks great aesthetically but sometimes it can be confusing.
