Notability: Notes, PDF 4+

want a FREEHAND CROP feature

hiii. i have been using notability since 2021, it has been such a great experience with notability. notability has been with me since highchool, my foundation studies, and currently in my first year of Medical School!!

i enjoyed using notability so much. but only one feature that i have been hoping for is a FREEHAND CROP (just like goodnote). as we know that notability only offer cropping feature in rectangular shape, but i think it would make my notes prettier and easier to read if we have FREEHAND CROPPING feature.

i hope the upper management of notability would consider my suggestion, thank you! :)

Notability Re-loads all notes every time I open the app. Even if it was in the background.

I am a tech director at a school with 600 of these on iPads and iCloud is terrible with Notability and Notability won’t even respond to tickets I had in for months.

This means they are in iCloud but not downloaded for one of a few reasons. With iCloud on it doesn’t believe any of your notes belong to your iPad and it can delete them and download them again at any time. I have single students with 5GB of notes so this is a huge problem. This can even happen mid note, it just disappears. This is with students with 200GB if iCloud and 128GB of iPad storage so no issues. If you run out of iCloud or iPad storage you may lose some of those notes permanently. Notability has not been able to show me a way to sync only some parts of your notes. They did respond to tell me iCloud was not an acceptable backup only a sync.

If you turn off iCloud this goes away, and can download the notes to your iPad. If you turn on iCloud again they will be back on the sync cache and could disappear.

Let the user to choose enable or disable ruler

Why i can not just select to disable the function of ruler? It was so easy that the ruler suddenly shown when im writing , why i cannot choose to disable the function of ruler, i was so annoying when im writing my notes, it popping up a few time in just a sentences.....i am very easy to double click the screen maybe due to my writing style but why there is no option of disable ruler function in the setting like I disable the gesture of double click for undo function? Please add this in the setting...... and also regarding the picture , a lock function for the inserted picture will be a great news to us, because it was so hard to write on the picture , can refer to GoodNotes, how they implement the picture lock function , it was so useful... i will be very grateful if these two function i stated can be added in the coming update. Thank you.
