Prayer time notifications

Love the apps but it would be better if I can have more sound options for the prayer time notification, instead of just azan or silent. You see I don’t want to turn on the azan because it would be inconvenient in certain situations, but I still want to receive the prayer time reminder. I notice when I set it to silent, I don’t get any notification at all (I do receive other daily reminders though). I’m not sure if everyone else is having the same problem. Hope the QalbyApp team can consider this suggestions.

Seamless, user-friendly and practical.

Salam. I am liking this app, so far. The layout is clean and organised. Easy on the eye as the design is clean and minimal, making it easy on the mind, too. I find that a layout filled with too many info and choices is a bit cluttered and overwhelming. Sorting them the way this app is doing is an excellent move. The addition of a task list and e-journal is a good call. Imagine attending a majlis tazkirah forgetting to bring a notebook and pen. Taraa! Can type your notes straight into the app. How convenient! I’m still a new user and still navigating my way through this app. I hope this app will only improve further but keeping true to its user-friendly, and no-fuss feature. I don’t mind paying a subscription fee for it. Kudos to the app developer team.

Inaccurate Prayer Times

I noticed that the prayer times are always early / late than the actual times. I’ve reached out via instagram DM and received assistance. It worked one time & the same problems happen again and again. Even after changing to the current location, the time is inaccurate. The app is not working as it should when user needs to amend the setting everytime user wants to refer the prayer times in the app.

I read other users are complaining of the same thing. It’s a problem that happens for years. I hope developers can take serious action on this problem as it really affects Muslim people’s daily reference for prayers and of course for iftar. If it’s not realiable to be made as reference for the prayer times, I believe users will slowly leave the app.

Salaam and thank you for reaching out to us. We understood your frustration and we are sorry that you are feeling that way. It has been our utmost priority and we are always looking for better solution tin providing the most accurate prayer time especially for our users in Malaysia.

In the latest version we have enhanced Solah function by displaying the prayer zone as per JAKIM's but we also would like to encourage users to enable the Recomended Settings and regularly check the zone that they are currently getting from the GPS Location assigned by their phones. This is because JAKIM too has designated zones of their own and there might be some mismatch between the GPS location of the phone and the zone from JAKIM.
