Love the idea behind this app! Being able to get good food at a cheaper price while helping businesses reduce food waste is definitely a win-win. The app is easy to use too. Would love to see more shops and restaurants joining ReMeal.

i know surplus foods are food items that gets thrown out at end of day by food outlets due to health laws and regulations BUT Malaysia has no such law. which means its up to the individual outlet to donate their food. the intent of this app seems good but it looks like you are promoting high end cafes, restaurants and hotel restaurants. who buys surplus buffets. in the 4+ yrs this app has been around, the app developer either has not convinced or unable to persuade outlets to join in the scheme. or he’s asking in the wrong places. i live in wangsa maju but most of the places on offer are in bangsar or damansara or subang or PJ. there is no delivery option. i have to pick up. that’s 30+ mins or 20+ km for mostly pastries n coffee.

Today I had an issue with my order collection at Berjaya Time Square Hotel. The shutter door to the uni entrance was closed, but the entrance was correct, according to the direction in the stores info. But I immediately contact the customer support, and the officer in charge, Lisa, had assisted me. She contacted the vendor and passed the info for new route to me. It happened so fast, I just reached level G from level 14, and the issue was solved.

Came across this app sebab nak cari buffet at a good price 😂 Honestly quite a good saver, especially kalau craving hotel buffet but taknak spend too much. Got to enjoy the buffet for way less than the usual price. Definitely worth checking out for the deals!
