Awesome
Awesome app with numerous skills taught by skilled professionals. I have learnt so much with this app and the memberships are really cheap. The only thing I would recommend is if the classes could be more advanced as they only teach until a certain level. All in all, great app!
No resolution options for video play
I’ve been using SkillShare for almost a year now. Love the facts that I actually learned a lot from this platform. However I’m super frustrated with the video player with no options for resolutions. The videos keep on playing / stucked at the worst resolution where I can’t even see what’s the teacher is demonstrating — it’s pixelated all over no matter how long I let it pause. If there’s resolution options, I can at least choose the resolution of my satisfaction and let the videos load for however long it would take. But instead, the videos keep on playing with bad resolution whether or not I had waited for long. Please consider this SkillShare. It’s frustrating to not be able to catch up what’s the teacher is talking about. I can’t see tje videos when they’re pixelated 😭
Worst decision
Signed up using a free trial. Soon after switched to a full paid subscription and paying the annual $160+ fee. My account has not since been switched over, even after the free trial period should have ended, yet my account was already charged. Haven’t been able to access a single thing since paying because the account is stuck on ‘free trial-pay again’. I have reached out to their customer support many times without getting any shred of assistance and have been asked twice to send proof of payment. I have sent… twice… then their customer service falls off the grid again and not reaching back out. I don’t recall having such poor correspondence with any other company. What a mess. I have lost the amount paid and my patience. What a waste.
