SmallFish is a project based on the Stockfish chess engine. It uses the latest Stockfish chess engine (Stockfish 16.0 SFNNv6 neural networks), rated about Elo 3600+ and is the strongest chess app on the App Store.
SmallFish offers you three distinct ways to improve your game. You can review your game with comments, or study how Stockfish thinks, or track your progress. No in-app purchase, no ads, no data tracking, it's totally free!

Super app with neat GUI
I was introduced to 3 super chess apps, Smallfish, Smallchess & Mini Chess, from the Stockfish home page. From my understanding, Ted has ported open source chess engines (Stockfish 4 & Micro-Max) to iOS, whilst coding the GUI. All 3 are great apps with neat interface. Mini Chess even plays Fischer Random!
