You never know what you going to get
Once I heard they say in the movies quote, just like a box of chocolates, you will never know what you going to get.. with all said, don’t go for chocolate or kimchi or nasi lemak, be safe just choose sushi kind at least for now as their their support team response very undependable especially in times where we are rushing to the appointments that we have arrange and we only found out the car we choose not in condition we expected (eg Not clean(ya right you compensate if we send for washing so you expect everyone will need schedule earlier to do send wash for you?, not well maintained (with check light on, with suspension noise kind).. please hold we will pass you to a live agent! Like forever waiting! I wonder how long you guys take to response in case of emergency like accidents happens to you cars..

Good idea but worst to use
Hopefully you guys can upgrade all the services faster, it’s been so long since I heard about socar, finally wanna try it ( in 2022!) I expect the service allow us to rent a car and return to anywhere else that socar parking bay, what’s the point to rent a car from airport and I wanna go home but we can only rent a car and return back to the same parking ?! It just doesn’t make any sense for me, might as well just call a grab and I can rest in the car and got home without risk myself to get into any car accident. The idea of renting a car is because of it can be cheaper compare to calling a driver to drive you to where you wanna go right? And if you wanna return to different spot you need to order for the service of socar to get another person to come and pickup your car which it cost around RM50? Besides, the people to come and collect the car it’s called Dashers. It’s a problem for them to earn money from this stupid service too. First of all, they need to bear the cost to go to the pickup location, they can drive there or grab there, which these cost, Socar or Dashers they are not giving any reimbursement. Secondly, after they picked up the car and return to Socar service, they have to take a grab to back to their own car in order to get back their car? Stupid They are not earning, they are doing charity. Might as well just drive the Grab

Live chat support didnt respond at all
So i rent a car at TBS for one day from 9am to 10pm. After drive around KL, i returned the car 30 minutes prior to the end time. I accidentally parked the car at the wrong parking spot (because u have to park it at the socar parking spot at level 4) and I realised i made a mistake so i drive and go back to the L4 and parked at the parking spot. However, the apps keep showing error and i tried it many times. Still, keep showing error. I reached to the “24/7” live chat support to assist me. Mind that i have to catch a bus at 10pm. Until 10pm, i didnt receive any message from the person who should be assisting me (in the live chat, u need to chat with AI first and then provide your name and email id, then they will connect u to the person in charge). Saw someone said that the socar customer support reached out to them (not assuming gender so i used them instead of he/she) after 6 hours. Walaoweh 6 hours sia u push rank valorant or what? I really hope you guys can be more responsible. If you asked me either i should suggest this socar to a friend, i will suggest them to go around kl by public transport or naik kuda instead of using socar. Worst customer support ever 👎👎👎👎👎👎.
Ps: i wrote this review inside the bus and till now, no reply from them. Sheesh
