Sound Bar Controller 4+

A very basic and simple app which is useful when you need to know the status of the soundbar as the led indicator on the hardware itself is clueless to the eyes. You wouldn’t know what level is the bass or if the bass extension is turned on/off, etc just by looking at the tiny light indistinguishable from other functions. I wish the mic sensitivity can be adjusted just like google home’s hardware as Alexa’s ability to hear is poor. Just approx 6ft away she is almost “deaf” and I had to mildly shout to wake her. Her understanding of command is another issue which is too lengthy to discuss here or maybe I compared too much with google assistant?

Since purchase, I am having problems with the Yamaha 209 compatibility with my Samsung 60 inch smart TV using the MAXIS Home Fibre internet connection. The Sound Bar keeps getting disconnected at odd times either due to its loss wifi connection or its power gets cut off by itself. I have called the Yamaha sound bar technician but he can't solve the problem saying that he can't update the sound bar OS which needs updating frequently. I am in a delimma. Sigh.......

I’m buying this unit Yas209 because they advertise have alexa built in. But unfortunately not support. Feel down and cheating.
