Test sometimes doesnt reflect the actual connection.

Doubting the genuine of the test result, there are time i my iphone cant even load a simple search but the result is showing my network work perfectly with no delay. Are they testing the signal tower or actual capability of phone being are to receive data ?

Thanks for the latest update, confirmed that my ISP isn’t outright honest

Thanks to the Speedtest Team in Ookla, for updating the iOS SpeedTest App with Multi / Single connections option.

I’m from Malaysia, and always have the suspicion that my ISP, Maxis Malaysia isn’t honest on our internet speed, even on a best effort basis.

Today, with the single connection SpeedTest, it just confirmed my nagging thoughts ... yeah I’m absolutely correct, both the upload and download speed are way far off from the promised 30Mbps and most importantly, the packet loss isn’t zero ... I faced constant disconnects every few seconds in addition to a real world slow internet access speed.

Today, I’m glad that I’m vindicated, even though there’s absolutely nothing that I can do for the lack of ISP choice .. or rather NO CHOICE.

Thanks again for the great work.
