You know Starbucks wifi required log in to use right? When I gotten to new Starbucks outlet, my phone automatically connected to the Starbucks Wifi, then the app start displaying bug saying no connectivity. After i close the wifi and connect to Mobile Data, the app keeps crashing unstoppable. As it crash, there is no background app to shut down, the only thing i can do is reinstall the app, and the queue starts building up 😅. Kind of an embarrassing moment.

Its so bad that Starbucks need registered member to use their WiFi (paid) that printed on the receipt. U must have registered account before can use the wifi. Malaysia Starbucks is so complicated. The Starbucks update the Apps also take ages. like 10 mins for me to update. Why taking ages this new update. Been many country outside Malaysia of the Starbucks service, Malaysian one is most unprofesiomal for apps and customer experience. Always ask me my name where when scan my barcode of membership should have my name. Why ask when already given to my account detail. Others country straight print the name sticker to the cup. Please go outside Malaysia and learn how others been doing for last 10 years please. We are so way behind in technology and information for Malaysia Starbucks.

Cashier like to act don’t know about the offer & charge original price if no mention. I visited more than 10outlets in Malaysia. Almost all had the same issues that I mentioned. Clearly it is poor management of Starbucks Malaysia-Berjaya group. Go check it out ZUS coffee. WiFi no need sign in just use pw will do. Nationwide same pw. Apps also much better. Give customer convenient not make customer suffer.

Placed an order at the app for Starbucks reserve 1 Utama. After waiting for 10 minutes I don’t see any staff working on any drinks. Had to approach the counter to ask them to check that an order went thru. Only then they realised there’s an order. Please do not introduce an option or feature that isn’t implemented at the location. Just stick to normal scan and pay if the table service is not available.
