I’m happy that StashAway leaves a peace of mind when it comes to automated investing. Although the algorithm of purchasing and selling can improve, I still say the overall is still above par. Customer support could improve too (solutions often happens after escalations)
StashAway platform has sufficient educational materials to share about the existing economic situation they perceive and what’s the next best move to make.
I learned the acronym DCA from StashAway!!
Thanks guys and keep it up. Make crypto the next assets to buy for us investors.

Great Platform to Start Investing

Been using Stashaway since July 2020. Loved how simple and intuitive their interface are. You don't need to be a financial whiz to invest with Stashaway. Most of the heavy lifting is done by the app and all you have to do is select your risk profile and commit to seeting aside money for your investment according to your plan. There's an auto-debit function where you can set a recurring date to deposit money into your portfolio, but currently it's on a monthly or quarterly basis. Maybe the team could look at allowing wider customisation for the recurring transfer frequency? The portfolios offered by Stashaway are also well diversified, and has generated a decent return for me.

Not meant to beat the market

I’ve never set foot in any form of investment and that’s always because of the high entry costs involved (sales charge, etc) but StashAway has definitely gotten rid of that entry and monthly fees are low, keeps the compounding effects at its maximum.

I will say however that if you’re looking at StashAway to dodge market corrections with its algorithms, you’ll be sorely disappointed. Can’t say I have because I was NOT expecting StashAway to perform differently, you should invest in StashAway with the philosophy they promote, dollar cost averaging.

Invest for the long term, don’t listen to the noise the media generates, do not leverage and do not invest with money you need in the short term.
