Description

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial and Museum is excited to offer “The Badge,” the newest addition in our line-up of resources designed to connect you with our nation’s law enforcement officers and the communities they serve.

The mission of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial and Museum is to tell the story of American law enforcement, honor the fallen, and make it safer for those who serve. We are working to expand and enrich the relationship shared by law enforcement and the community through educational journeys, immersive exhibitions, and insightful programs.

“The Badge” mobile app brings you closer to the action, keeps you informed about happenings in the law-enforcement arena, and helps you stay engaged in our exciting collection and year-round programs. Within the virtual walls of our mobile app, you'll find stories of our earliest officers to today's heroes, artifacts from our collection of more than 20,000 objects telling the story of American law enforcement, and—most importantly—we’re proud that the app will serve as a platform for remembering the fallen officers engraved forever on our Memorial while also serving as an environment for constructive dialog that will help strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

Features for this mobile app include:

Spotlight Officers - Learn about fallen heroes and their career achievements as law enforcement officers.

Search Officers - Search through our database dating back to 1794 to learn about all the heroes that put their lives on the line of duty to serve our country. Filter your searches to narrow down your results so that you can find that specific hero you want to honor.

Honor The Fallen - Leave a tribute for a specific officer or all fallen officers. Customize your tribute with a unique emblem, photo, and message to share a memory for those heroes so that our community can continue raising awareness for all law enforcement officers.

Stats & Facts - Learn more about the museum's collection with unique and interesting articles that highlight the story of American law enforcement officers through their trials and tribulations.

Support the NLEOMF Through Donations - These are unprecedented times and our number-one priority is to protect the future of the National Law Enforcement Memorial and the Museum. Nothing will stand in our way of fulfilling our mission to honor the fallen, maintain the hallowed grounds of the Memorial, tell the story of American Law Enforcement, and make it safer for those who serve.

Retail Shop - A convenient link to our retail shop where guests can view our current Museum and Memorial items, plus Police Week and Holiday.
