Good game

This is a certified hood classic

AI performance should be improved

The storyline was interesting, but the performance of the AI ships during the battle were way too dumb and clumsy, especially when they facing against the no-go zone, heavy ships like 1st and 2nd rate can’t even turn properly and they stuck for minutes, while getting shot by the enemy like a target practice without returning fire.
Maps for ship battle for merchant raiding was too much peninsula, limiting the movement of ships and performance, instead it should be in open sea.
And it’s better if the game provides self placement for ships before battle like Total War for example, which might improving the gameplay.

PS: maybe can add more customisations for crew, pirate flags or the improvement for the model of the ships based on the historical period. Or Governor missions like joint naval battle against other nations in some certain areas when players have the letter of Marque.

Please improve this game and get more ship in this game we need a lot strong ship than 1st rate
