WORST APP EVER. SCAMMER

Subscribed for one month plan only, but they auto-renewed and deducted my money. After that, I’ve been trying to unsubscribe but cannot. There is no unsubscribe feature on their app. When I searched online, they said email in case need assistance for unsubscription and I did. But I received no reply till today. Imagine, I have been trying to unsubscribe for ONE MONTH and CANNOT. They purposely make it hard for you to unsubscribe by not putting the feature in their app & ignoring emails. Mana pernah apps lain buat process unsubscribe susah & complicated nak mampus macam ni. Tonton my purposely done this so they can trap their users into keep subscribing to their lower than mediocre app.

Worst Apps Ever

I downloaded this app to watch series that only available here but i got so frustrated. Everytime I want to watch an episode, 1 hour turns to 1h 30mins. Just because of the lag and freaking so many ads. Imagine ads 5 times in a row and the next 2 mins another ads. What the heck? When can i watched the episode then? I also seen many people complained about subscription. Thank god i havent subscribe. You guys have such a bad reviews on this app so you guys should do something about it. It has been forever and no action taken???? Do something about it la!!

Hi Nifzamrosdi, we are sorry about that. You can 'clear the cache' and try to log out and log in again to solve the problem of the Tonton app lagging due to the ads. For your information, TontonUp subscription gives you access to watch exclusive movies and dramas and premium TV channels that are only available on the Tonton app. To watch ad-free, you need to choose one of the premium TV channels and exclusive viewing material marked with the TontonUp logo. In addition, we also provide free movies and dramas and free TV channels for Tonton app users who subscribe for free. If you watch dramas, movies or TV programs from free subscription services, most of them still have ads because they allow the content to remain free. We suggest you email us more about your problem at support@tonton.com.my and we will help you.

HELP ME SOLVE THIS!

I purchased the 3 month subscription for some contest and at that time, it doesn’t state that it will auto-renewed by itself😀 I’ve tried to unsubscribe to it but couldn’t since THERE’S NO SETTING FOR IT. I already tried doing it on the web, nothing. On tng, nothing also…app store too. And yesterday, it charged me Rm 28😭 the app should have sent like a notification/email regarding the renewal. Please respond to my email, I want a refund!!!! (I’m a student so please 🙏)

Hi Juanito Mom, thank you for reaching us. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you have made payments via TouchNgo e-wallet, credit card or debit card, you can cancel the recurring payments by yourself through your Tonton PROFILE via MOBILE PHONE or DESKTOP. Please follow below steps:


Mobile Phone
1) Go to (Settings) > click on (Account) > Click on (Refresh Entitlements) > Then click on (Manage Account)
2) Click on the (Subscription Plan)
3) Click on the (Cancel recurring subscription)

Website
1) Log in to > Account > Click on Settings > Select Account
2) Go to the (Subscription Plan)
3) Click on the (Cancel Recurring Subscription)
