Description
VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player.
It can play all your movies, shows and music in most formats directly without conversion.
It allows file synchronization with Dropbox, GDrive, OneDrive, Box, iCloud Drive, iTunes, direct downloads and through Wi-Fi sharing as well as streaming from SMB, FTP, SFTP, NFS, UPnP/DLNA media servers and the web.
VLC offers support for advanced subtitles including full SSA compatibility, multi-track audio, playback speed control and rendering through Chromecast.
VLC is completely free and open source.

Please add subtitles compatibility
Please allow subtitles to be added to videos through .srt files! This worked flawlessly on the pc app and should be in the mobile version too :(

It works great on mobile too! Just put the srt next to your movie on your iPhone or iPad.
Google drive streaming faulty
Everytime I tried to login to my gdrive account it stuck in a loop. After killing the app in app switch it worked but then again new error popping out - Error Fetching Files. Insufficient permissions: Request had insufficient authentication scopes”
It worked flawlessly before, I hope the devs fixes the issues quickly. I did some google search, not only me facing this error. Many have submitted the report in main VlC forum too.
Deleted File
VLC was taking too much space so I deleted some Video file but the space that it took stays the same even after deleting a lot of file. The only way is for me to reinstall the app which is such a hustle since I need to make a backup file for the file that I didn’t want to delete
