Beware of XT.com: Frustrating Security Procedures and Poor Customer Support
I started using XT.com in 2023 and made two deposits via transfer. Unfortunately, a few months later, I was involved in an accident that left me in a coma for several months. During this time, my prepaid phone number expired, and the telecom company reassigned it to someone else. After recovering from the coma and my injuries, I decided to resume trading on XT.com. But without my original phone number, it’s impossible to log back in because XT.com requires both tag on phone number and email verification. XT.com requested that I send a picture with my ID, which I did. However, they then demanded that I send a video demonstrating how I transferred money to XT.com. Firstly, the transfers were done by someone else, and secondly, you can only get the wallet address needed for the video by logging into the XT.com app—which I can’t do! Despite explaining my situation, Therese from XT.com's support team still insists on this ridiculous video requirement. I've already provided my ID and a video as proof that I am the owner of the account. While I understand the need for security, this over-the-top process is making it impossible for me to access my own money. This so-called "security" is just a way to make you lose your money. I warn you all—don't deposit your money here. XT.com's procedures are unnecessarily complicated and will leave you frustrated and without access to your funds.
