Where have Doraemon’s gadgets gone?
Doraemon Gadget Rush
A Fast-Paced Puzzle Game!
For many of us, Doraemon was an integral part of our childhood. The best companion a kid could wish for, too: a friendly, robotic cat from the future that always has the perfect tool or gadget to help in any situation (including getting out of homework).
Now, do you remember the first gadget he ever used?
The answer is hard to pinpoint. When Doraemon debuted in December 1969, Japanese publisher Shogakukan simultaneously ran the manga in six of its children’s magazines – each with a different story.
It was only later that All the Way from the Future World was designated the first of the franchise canon. The manga features what became to be Doraemon’s most famous gadgets: the Time Machine and his head-mounted Bamboo Copter. However, whether these were indeed the very first all depends on how you imagine Doraemon’s origins.
Speaking of imagine, which one of Doraemon’s gadgets have you always wanted? Would it be the simple but useful Memory Bread or the universe-altering What-if Phone Booth?
Whatever you yearn for, this 22nd-century kitty can’t help you. You see: Doraemon is tied up at the moment with getting them all back – from thieving aliens.
In Doraemon Gadget Rush, you’ll have to enlist all the series’ beloved characters to help Doraemon retrieve all his stolen gadgets.
The game combines tile-matching with RPG battle action. String the same colour bells for points, or match up tiles with the same characters to launch an attack. Doraemon starts off all alone, but keep up the good fight and you’ll quickly unlock friends to join your ranks.
