GoForEat lets you easily pick up your meal in a restaurant, no need for a waiter.
Our idea was to transfer the functionality of pagers into smartphones. Why bother buying and maintaining additional equipment when you can use a device everyone already has in their pocket - their smartphone.

GoForEat notifies you as soon as your order is ready. We have developed a QR code based notification system. Restaurateurs love how with two clicks they can generate a QR code which is then scanned by the customer. Regulars scan with the app, whereas newbies can simply open their camera* and point at the code, the link will then open in their browser - no app required, so anyone can use it hassle-free.

You can also view the menus of the nearby participating restaurants which comes in especially handy while you’re in the food truck zone or at a festival, where approaching each individual stand would be uneasy and time-consuming.

How it works:
Order at the till where a QR code is generated for you
Scan the code with the app or in any other way
The code takes you to a website showing progress of your order
That’s it! All you need to do now is wait for “Ready” so you can pick it up.

While you’re comfortably waiting you might as well research some dessert options. There are no limits to GoForEat, you can track as many orders at once as you wish.
