Description

Namibia boasts one of the most impressive road networks in Africa, yet safety remains a concern. The frequency of accidents and resulting casualties not only claims lives but also bears significant social and economic ramifications.

In an effort to instill compliance with rules and regulations among the youth and others, we've developed an interactive computer program. This program focuses on the initial step toward obtaining a driver's license: the Learners License.

With approximately 40,000 learner license tests conducted monthly and a pass rate of about 38%, it's evident that our roads are not as secure as they should be.

The majority of these applicants are young people aged 17 to 23, who have grown up in a world immersed in computers and mobile phones. We believe that by leveraging the technology that surrounds young people to educate them about road rules and regulations, we can cultivate more responsible, law-abiding drivers, thus making our roads safer.
