meteoblue shows high precision weather forecasts combined with a beautiful, simple and easy to use design. Weather forecasts can be requested for any place on Earth easily and comfortably.
What makes this app unique:
• Weather forecasts for any point on land or sea.
• Location search with more than 6 million locations: search for location name, postal code or coordinates or let the app find your current position with the GPS module.
• Widget: provides a quick overview of the current and future weather for a single location.
• Background images matching current weather conditions at the selected location.
• 7 days forecast: daily overview and detailed information for every single day with hourly or 3 hour values. Besides standard parameters like temperature, precipitation and wind information, unique features like predictability and rainSPOT give a better overview.
• Meteogram 5 days: temperature curve with pictograms, cloud layers in different altitudes and wind forecast.
• 14 days: trend forecast for minimum and maximum temperature as well as precipitation and precipitation probability.

• Wind Animation: shows the movement of the air (windspeed and direction), coloured areas show the temperature. The wind animation is available worldwide.

• Offline mode: the app will save the weather data for each place until you are online again.

The use of meteoblue for iOS is free of charge. Within the app, you can sign up for the "No ads - 1 Year" subscription, which disables all ads for a period of one year. If you choose to subscribe, you will pay the price set for your country, as shown inside the app. The subscription automatically renews if it is not cancelled within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for the next subscription period up to 24 hours prior to the current subscription expiring. It is not possible to cancel an existing in-app subscription. You can disable the automatic renewal function at any time by adjusting your account settings.

With this update, you can share the forecast with friends. Use the share button to send a screenshot of the weather forecast or a link to the maps, the radar or the satellite. Also, the app now shows separate pictograms for day and night times.

Good app.
It's small, quick, and easy to navigate. No excess bulk or clutter. Cheap annual subscription for no ads, which ended up being the deciding factor for me after trying 7 different apps, and some charging as much as $3/month 🤣🤣🤣
One thing that has me perplexed is that the app mentions widgets... but I cannot find any widget for this app. A widget would be nice but... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Please follow the steps below to use the new iOS 14 widgets:
1. Hold your finger on an empty space on your home screen for a few seconds to enter editing mode.
2. Now a + will appear in the upper corner of your screen. Tap on it.
3. This will take you to the widget overview. Scroll down until you see "meteoblue" or type "meteoblue" in the search field above.
4. Then tap the "meteoblue" icon to see the available widgets. There are 3 different sized widgets available.
5. Choose the widget that suits you best by tapping on "Add widget".
6. The widget will now move to your home screen. Here you can move it back and forth to bring it to the right position.
To choose what location to display in the widget open the meteoblue app, tap the menu button at the top left (icon showing 9 small tiles), and on the screen that appears tap the small cog wheel at the bottom left.
The “Settings” page appears. Scroll to “Widget settings”, tap, and choose what location you want the widget to show. In the same way you can change at any time which location you want the widget to show. #hj
