Getting started

You’ll need some data to download the app for the first time, but data charges no longer apply when using the SA app itself. If you have a connection, you can do your banking!

Transactional features are available to Standard Bank accounts held in South Africa, Ghana, Uganda, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Lesotho, Malawi, eSwatini and Namibia. Keep in mind that some types of payments include transaction fees.
Note that some features may not be available in your region.

A great update this time! Here's what's new

• CMA: Customers who make payments to Namibia will be presented with a message in the payments flow, which re-directs them to Branch for future payments to Namibia.
• Flexible Funeral policyholders may now submit their claims via the Insurance Tile.
• When buying a Flexi Funeral policy via the Explore page, customers may now insure children over 21 years of age by indicating if the child is a student or disabled.

Proof of payment

The app is working ok but I cannot seem to get the option of getting a proof of payment

Notifications

Great app. But can you add feature for the app to send notifications when funds have been received or sent out of the account. It saves the hassle of having to log into the app every time just to check.

Hi, thanks for the response. Some of your active users are abroad and the sms notification system can seem redundant as it either, sends notifications late, or doesn’t send notifications at all. Requesting for proof of transaction especially for the recipient can seem daunting. So why not allow the app to send notifications?

Techincal Error

Why is it that every time that the app is upgraded, it is so difficult to access one’s profile, always getting the 500 technical error? One follows the instructions to access your profile, but cannot get in. No other dashboards - only one appearing under settings and not allowing any changes except to change the name.
