The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) is the largest law enforcement agency in the southeastern United States and serves over 2.8 million residents and 14 million annual visitors. The MDPD’s mission is to provide a safe and secure environment, free from crime and the fear of crime. To ensure the success of this mission, our law enforcement officers encounter dangerous and stressful situations in the course of their duties. It is essential to support and help the brave men and women who have dedicated their lives to helping others.
