Description
This app was created entirely by me using an iPad. The main character, a robotic animal, was completely designed by me using AI. Tap to see it transform, move, and jump!
This app is a dynamic toy that features numerous robot animals. It also doubles as a communication tool that allows parents and children to enjoy interactive play together.
For instance, when you press a button, a variety of charming robot animals respond and move interactively. You could say, "Look, the bird has spread its wings. How beautiful those feathers are!" or "That pencil drawing turned into a real squirrel—amazing, isn't it?" Your young child will surely be inspired to mimic you.
Additionally, it is beneficial for parents to interact with their children using the toys included in the app. The toys are rich with features such as onomatopoeia, often referred to as a "language beyond words." This form of expression transcends linguistic barriers and can be intuitively understood.
This approach is based on the mechanism by which the human infant brain develops through stimulation from others.
Interestingly, not only are the babies stimulated by the toys, but the parents themselves are also affected by their children's reactions, triggering a series of emotional responses.
In other words, as the baby's brain develops, parents are simultaneously refining their brains towards optimal parenting behaviors.
【Usage Guide】
I would like parents who are raising children to make good use of the "Robot Animal Land" app. For example, try the following methods when soothing your baby:
(1) Capturing the baby's interest: Lay the baby on their back or sit them up, and show them the smartphone screen about 9 inches (23 centimeters) away. Gently move a rattle side to side to encourage the baby to follow the screen with their eyes. Once they show interest, tap the button on the screen. The robot animals will move differently, transform, or even jump.
(2) Speaking: Use the app to clearly pronounce onomatopoeia. Through this interaction, the baby will feel happiness and develop an interest in language learning.
(3) Engaging in conversation: While watching the movements of the robot animals, imagine things like Africa, space, or forests, and talk about these to your baby.
(4) Singing: Sing freely any song that comes to mind, or one that you like, as you watch the movements of the robot animals. Your child will be drawn into the fun atmosphere and enjoy it together with you.
(5) Remembering: Always keep in mind that the "Robot Animal Land" app is on your smartphone. This app is perfect when your baby is in a good mood, crying, or when you simply want to engage in communication. It’s a reliable companion anytime and anywhere.
The app is not just a toy but an important tool that supports the growth and learning of babies. It is reliable in any situation and can be a close ally in fostering the development of your baby.
"An Approach Based on Theories Supporting Infant Development"
This app is based on a theory I presented at the 2008 World Association for Infant Mental Health, which was published in the conference proceedings. This foundation allows the app to be designed to promote mental and cognitive development in infants. It is an interactive tool that provides educational value while also being fun for parents and children to enjoy together.
