HexaParty - Hexel art for Kids
Relaxing pixel art coloring
Colouring books can get messy. Forget just staying within the lines, there’s always the risk that little ones get overexcited – scribbling off the page directly onto the invitingly blank whiteness of the wall...
Fortunately, with HexaParty there is no such risk of rainbow-coloured misadventures. This pixel art app invites you to create technicolour drawings based on pixellated outlines.
Tap on an image from its vast library of categories: such as music (draw a violin!) or technology (draw a grinning robot!). You’ll be presented with a series of hexagonal pixels, each lightly shaded in a particular colour.
Tap the corresponding coloured “pencil” from the bottom of the screen, and then use it to trace over the hexagons, creating the chosen image. There are more than 10 categories, featuring more than 300 images to choose from – which equals a world of imagination.
But that’s not all. Drawing within the lines is fun – but what about those moments when you can’t contain your creativity? Sorted: there’s also a free draw area, where you are confronted with a wide-open canvas of hexagons and a huge number of different coloured pencils to choose from.
Go wild – without the risk to the wallpaper.
