Bolt Driver 4+

I’ve a suggestion to make to Bolt company or management.
You guys don’t have to drop a driver’s score or percentage because they rejected or ignored a trip request. To me I feel it’s totally unfair because not all drivers may want to go to a certain area because of various reasons known to them. One reason might be safety,another might be to catch up with an appointment etc
Please and please let drivers choose where they intend to go to and shouldn’t lose scores because they rejected or ignored a trip request. I don’t want to mention names but other companies allow drivers to choose the trip request offered to them which ordinarily is the right thing to do and even if they ignored didn’t accept to go to a certain area, nothing happens to their driver scores.
I sincerely hope the app will be updated in the nearest future and this concern will be considered because I know I’m not the only one unhappy about this. Thank you!

I’m concerned about my rating that keeps dropping by the day. No driver wanna risk himself for the money. My driver score is dropping because I cancel trips or passengers cancel trips. Why if I don’t wanna go into a terrain for safety purposes even after accepting the ride but when you speak with the passenger and realize you can’t make the trip and will have to cancel?

On other occasions, riders/passengers are far far distances away and yet the app match you to the ride request. What am I expected to do in this case, driver long distance to pick a passenger that wouldn’t even be waiting or that I should spend all that time driving to a pickup location…? I’ve done nothing wrong for a bad rating. I’ll continue to cancel trips I feel unsafe about or distances that are far from me.

This is something I’ve done for many years and I enjoy doing it. Let’s hope we can all enjoy one another partnership. We all have shared interest: money and good customer service. I’m doing just that and will expect better from Bolt as far as my safety is concerned. Stop dropping my rating and indirectly compel me to risk myself to avoid being blocked. I go out there to generate income and wouldn’t deliberately cancel trips.

The various reviews of drivers in here is perfectly how i feel using the bolt platform. Riders lie most times and their location has very bad roads that affects one’s car, bolt give me rides outside my radius everytime and if i cancel driver score goes down, there are situations where the riders cancel after getting to their locations driver score down but whenever i accept rides and complete a trip my score doesn’t move an inch…I’m presently at the warning stage in my driver score and i know that at most a week i’ll be banned from the platform. Just putting it out here that bolt isn’t fair to her drivers. Fuel and maintenance cost takes almost everything one makes daily and when you take your percentage what does one take home? Peanuts!
