About the app
The iizipay app allows holders of the iizipay pre-paid MasterCard to make and view payments. Users can transfer funds in the Euro-zone and to a range of other countries (e.g. UK, US, Australia, Canadia) ,
Our initial target area are students that are moving abroad
The iizipay brand is owned by iizipay B.V. in The Hague in the Netherlands. The brand under which we operate is iizipay, we also use MR2 as trading name.
We work with a range of Fintechs that license our app and IT services.
Using the app
The app has two distinct different behaviours:
1. Client on-boarding
After downloading the app, a new client will be matched against registered clients at iizipay.online and an additional verification through a text message. This involves components made by Verifai (liveness test).
Clients can see (and where applicable amend) their transactions, their own data (e.g. street), app settings, messages, notifications and manage their card.
A new client will install the app, key-in his/her mobile number and receive an SMS text message with a one-time password. If this matches, client recognition will take place. The client will look in the camera, close his/her eyes and look right. In the following phase a client will provide a passport or identity card and a card/letter proving his/her address. Once completed, the user will be asked to log off.
Once a user logs on (finger print, PIN, face ID), the home screen will provide the balance, allow the client to pay someone, view/amend personal details, view/amend app settings, communicate with iizipay and to manage his/her card.
