Riders are something else.

Honestly your riders are really cheap liars and if you dont look into this soonest, you might start paying the price later. They will send you message your order will be delivered today in the morning and then dont turn up all day. You will now be the one calling and calling with no response, next thing you will see ‘we were unable to reach you’ next is ‘order has been cancelled’. This is without making any attempt to deliver your goods at all.

This last one really pained me to my bone marrow cos it took three weeks before i finally got contacted for an order i placed. The rider did same thing they normally do, i was begging and pleading with this guy that i will come to wherever he is and pickup if he cant come and he said he will call me. Only to see order has been cancelled later in the night when he didnt even contact me for delivery even for once. I was the one calling him from the text i got, begging him to not cancel my order as they always do, only for the werey to still go ahead and cancel even when he never tried making the delivery

You’re loosing money

I don’t know if this is a policy but your drivers simply cancel orders after one try at delivery. They won’t call before coming to you, and if you’re naturally not home on a weekday and your gateman strolls off some place and you can’t receive an order just on first trial, they cancel your order and you’re refunded!

An order you’ve been expecting, canceled just like that. Not even a second try at delivering.

And another way is that they call at midnight night and send you a message saying they can’t reach you for your delivery and you should call back, at 11:30 or 1am. Pls I’m not exaggerating this. Then in the morning you get a message saying your order has been canceled and sent back to the seller because they failed to deliver. No attempt made, just a missed call and a message. This has happened about 3 times now.

I’m writing all these here because there’s no other way to let the appropriate people know this is happening.

I’m a long standing customer and I believe in this platform to let some drivers keep getting away with this. Never had this problem when we lived in the rural areas, those guys will try 3 times if it came to that but since we moved more into town the drivers here care just about their pay check.

I’ve taken my time out to write all these, I hope it’s looked into.

Poor service

This app used to be my best app for ordering, but this days there service have becoming poor and boring to me, if u place an order it will take days to be delivered after failing to deliver at the appointed day and some of there dispatch riders misbehaviors sometimes they intentionally fail to deliver orders after saying they don’t know the location. One of the dispatch riders stressed my life today after calling me to meet him in one bus stop close to my area getting there he refused to pick my calls I searched for him all around the bus stop I couldn’t see him when I returned back home he call me again asking me where I am I said I have returned home he said I should come back I got back at that bus stop and call his number he didn’t pick his calls again which made me get angry with him the last time he called me he said I should go he will call me when he get to my area finally he drives away with my package without delivering it or me or call me, if not that I have payed for that package already I would have forgotten about it and order else where, I was totally upset today with the service of this jumia, I have been a regular customer but am out, I rather order from konga next time
