In one drag to the edge of your display, you size any app into half of the screen. And by dragging its windows to corners, you snap them into quarters. Sliding on the bottom edge creates thirds, or even sixths on ultra-wide monitors. Taking advantage of such arrangements eliminates app switching and greatly enhances workspace efficiency.
All commands can be triggered via keyboard shortcuts as well. You can find a predefined set of hotkeys under the menu bar icon, or create ones that fit your habits.

Great App but missing one thing imo
This app just turned out to be the best alternative for me but I'd like to ask that the center layout snap to a particular dimension or set of dimensions. e.g. 720p, 480p, 1440x900, e.t.c. I saw this feature testing out Mosaic and I thought it made sense. Do that and this is a 5-star app for sure.
Very useful, and unobtrusively works
Helps a lot with productivity especially when working with multiple windows and especially multiple monitors.
The app works really well. It is unobtrusive, very customizable and light weight.
Amazing
This is one of the top 3 tools to have for a MAC. I can not start my Mac Book Pro withouth having this application in the the background.
