The Maker Town® App is a community tool for supporting local maker economies across America. Select a region, and discover maker places of business, where you can shop local and shop handmade. The Maker Town® App helps makers become more accessible to nearby consumers, whether they operate through a retail boutique, an online store, a fabrication shop, or a pop-up market.

- Filter for maker businesses across 10 product categories: Wellness, Home Decor, Jewelry, Tabletop, Furniture, Fashion, Wall Art, For Pets, Paper Items, and Packaged Foods.
- Browse through colorful images of product examples from each maker business.
- Watch videos of local makers and artists sharing their projects and their process.
- Learn about upcoming maker events in your region that you can attend.
- Link directly to makers at their preferred commerce site when you’re ready to buy.
The default region is Northeast Ohio, until new regions are added. Contact info@makertownusa.com if you’d like your region to be considered for inclusion.
What’s New
Version 2.0
Version 2.0 of the Maker Town® App features a streamlined user interface that takes you right into the image directory, making it easier to filter by category and quickly learn about upcoming events. This version also features video shorts of local makers throughout each filtered view, providing even more opportunities for local makers to be discovered by those interested in handmade and local goods.
